This is my ninth year teaching at Winooski High School.  I enjoy working with the students in classes and through a variety of extra-curricular activities.  This is a great community to work in. As the only business teacher at the high school, it is nice to see so many students with the entrepreneurial spirit.  Students have created wonderful business plans that have won awards at the state level and several students have started their own businesses.  Students in Personal Finance and Introduction to Business classes have won six of the top 18 spots in the state’s business plan competition and two students have received honorable mention. My classroom is home to the School Store, which is run by students.  Profits from the School Store fund a business trip to New York City as well as provides scholarships for college bound seniors.  Students also are running an eBay store, where we sell donated household goods, CDs, DVDs, Books and Video Games (no clothing accepted at this time). We are always in search of donations.
