In the dimension of Writing Voice
I was substitute teaching in the Homework Club when Jacob approached and asked me to read a piece of fiction he had drafted as part of his Humanities class. I was astounded by the mature, descriptive narrative that he had written. Jacob’s use of imagery and his first-person voice made it one of the most engrossing pieces of writing I had seen in quite a while. It was clear that not only was Jacob a creative thinker, he understood how to use the mechanics of writing to share his vision with his audience. I applaud Jacob’s dedication to his craft, and appreciate the time and creativity he spent in fulfilling his assignment! Can’t wait to read more of his work.
